Sarah studied computer science at the American University of Sharjah. She was always interested in aerospace engineering but grew up at a time when United Arab Emirates did not have a space program.

Started career in the sciences as a Programme Engineer on Dubai Sat-1 and Dubai Sat-2.

Now she is the Minister of State for Advanced Sciences.
